Raja Pervaiz Ashraf nominated for PM of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The allied parties on Friday nominated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf  for the new prime minister of Pakistan after Yousuf Raza Gilani was disqualified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on July 19, DawnNews reported.
The announcement was made by Khursheed Shah of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Haider Abbas Rizvi of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), and Afrasiab Khattak of Awami National Party (ANP).
